NEW! Copper Country Kiwanis Scholarship - now available!

Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world, one child and one community at a time. The local Kiwanis Club of the Copper Country has started a scholarship fund in that same spirit - to help young community members, with the hope that they in turn will help their community!

Three $500 scholarships will be awarded in 2024.

To be eligible, applicants must meet these criteria: 

  • Be a Houghton High School senior with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher.

  • Be accepted for admission to a college, university, or technical school.

  • Selection will be based on leadership skills and involvement in community service.

The application will be available from March 14 - April 14, 2024. Awards will be announced in May.
