KCF Education and Networking Series: Finding Grant Opportunities and Supportive Data

The Keweenaw Community Foundation will host the Education and Networking Series session 2: Finding Grant Opportunities and Supportive Data on August 6th from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Keweenaw Community Foundation office. KCF is pleased to sponsor this series, which features training from Grow and Lead: Community and Youth Development (GLCYD).

About The Session

Linda Remsburg, associate at Grow and Lead, and Dory Shaffer, research, education, and outreach librarian at Michigan Tech University, will lead an interactive learning session to help you find grant opportunities that match your needs. You will learn advanced online searching techniques that you may also use to find data and information to help build your case for support. There will be interactive activities, so please bring your laptop if possible! There will be a few extra laptops available.

This workshop is free and open to the general public, especially for those involved with nonprofits. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.
