The primary purpose of this field of interest fund is to support historical preservation and education projects or activities related to the Houghton County of Michigan.
We are currently looking for individuals to sit on the Houghton County Historical Preservation Endowment Advisory Committee. Please enquire at the KCF office or send a letter of interest to mail@keweenawgives.org.

2022
$350.00 awarded to the Houghton County Historical Society, for the installation of interpretive signs on museum grounds.
$750.00 awarded to Painesdale Mine & Shaft, Inc. to repair a critical stairway that will allow access to the upper levels of the rockhouse for tours and enable repairs.
