Bay-Lakes Councils mission is to instill in young people lifetime values and develop in them leadership skills and ethical character as expressed in the Scout Oath and Law.

Bay-Lakes Council is one of the largest Boy Scout Councils in the Midwest. They provide programs and services to over 27,000 boys in 35 counties from East Central Wisconsin to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The council has over 320 Cub Scout Packs, 230 Boy Scout Troops, 90 Venture Crews and 75 Explorer Posts.

Scout Oath: On my honor, I will do my best. To do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; To help other people at all times; To keep myself physically strong, mentally awake and morally straight.

Scout Law: A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent.
