Our Committees

Executive Committee

The Executive Committee supplements the work of the entire Board and consists of the Board officers. The Executive Committee can make decisions on behalf of the Board in cases where it is impossible to convene the full Board or a situation that requires immediate attention. The Board chair may also choose to convene the Executive Committee for planning purposes or in-depth discussion on a specific topic.

Fiduciary Committee

The Fiduciary Committee ensures the financial integrity and stability of the organization by providing oversight on its financial responsibilities, budget and investments.

Marketing and Donor Relations Committee

The Marketing and Donor Relations Committee is responsible for developing and overseeing the organization’s overall fund development program, marketing, and outreach activities.

Granting Committee

The Granting Committee is responsible for developing and overseeing the organization’s grantable monies.

Governance Committee

The Governance Committee serves to identify, recruit and orient new Board members, to guide board training, and to develop Board practices and policies to ensure that the work of the Board is consistent with its mission. It also provides oversight for the Board member election process.

Kellogg Youth (Youth Advisory Council) Endowment Advisory Committee

The Youth Advisory Council (YAC) Committee is responsible for developing and overseeing the organization’s Youth Advisory Council by promoting, reviewing proposals, and recommending grants pertaining to youth related endowments.

Copper Country Youth Hockey Endowment Advisory Committee

The primary purpose of this field of interest fund is to promote and support youth ice hockey programs throughout the Copper Country Junior Hockey Association territory and to expand opportunities for youth to further develop the skills necessary to participate in ice hockey.
