Meet the Staff
Jim Vivian - Executive Director
Why KCF: I am a fifth-generation resident of Houghton and Keweenaw counties, and I come from a strong family tradition of supporting the community that has supported our family. Being involved with the Keweenaw Community Foundation is important to me because of the positive influence and impact we have on the quality of our community.
Passions: In the spring and summer, I can be found navigating boats powered by motor, sail, and paddle in the Great Lakes and other waters of North America. In the Fall and winter, I can be found enjoying the Keweenaw outdoors in all its glory.
Lisa Broemer - Office Manager
Why KCF: After learning what the Foundation does for the community, I knew I wanted to be a part of this team. Every day, I leave the office with the satisfaction that I helped make a difference, maybe in a small way, maybe in a big way, maybe for an individual, maybe for a group of people—big or small, being a part of a team that “inspires giving that invests in our community’s quality of life” is exactly where I want to be.
Passions: Health and happiness. I am a people person—a social butterfly so to speak. Whether with my family, friends, or at community events meeting new people, I always want to see smiles and hear laughter. I try to promote healthy living within my community as well as my own household and family.
Hailey Hart - Communications Coordinator
Why KCF: Being born and raised in the community of Hancock has helped shape the person that I am today. I have a strong love for the area and the people that belong to it and also call this place their home. The Keweenaw Community Foundation does so much behind the scenes work to help shape this wonderful environment. I couldn’t think of a better way to combine my skills and love of the area than being a part of this team.
Passions: You can typically find me sipping on some coffee or exploring the outdoors. Sometimes I even combine the two! I really enjoy travelling and learning about new places, it really helps me to appreciate this great location even more.
